 LISTEN TO ROCKITZ RADIO 1984

                         INTERNET RADIO

This station is modeled on the music

played at Rockitz Nightclub in Richmond Va from 1984-1988. Pandora doesn't have a "time" filter as far as we can tell so some later stuff will inevitably play. Click the PANDORA logo to return/listen to Rockitz 1984!

Richmond Indie Radio is a fresh new voice, on the air since January 1, 2005. WRIR broadcasts music you DON'T hear on the radio dial with LIVE LOCAL DJ's doing REAL LIVE SHOWS. In addition to locally produced music shows, WRIR offers a wide range of National and Local news programming that covers issues unrepresented by other media.

WRIR is also a true community radio station. That means-
- Locally owned, and by charter can never be bought out by any non local entity.
- The station is operated by volunteers from the Richmond community. WRIR staff consists of your neighbors playing music, sharing news and operating the station.
